Season 9 Teaser
Season 9 is nearly here - we have a great lineup of guests and Claire shares with you what to expect from the upcoming season.

Hello, it's Claire here with a quick note about season nine. I wanted to shake things up a bit after podcasting for nearly three years and so I've tried a few new ideas with season nine, and I'm really keen to see what you think.
Firstly, we've partnered with LastPass, the leading password manager to bring you this season.
Secondly, and in line with this, we went live with the podcast for only the second time. You might remember the live in person episode we did with Anna Leibel a long way back in season two. Well, this time we went live via webinar and Lloyd Evans from LastPass and I spoke about human behaviours and the impact of culture and values on cybersecurity. And we had nearly 200 people join the webinar, which was brilliant, and now we're bringing those episodes to you as part of season nine.
And the third thing I wanted to do this season was to make all 10 episodes have a shared theme. I'm a big advocate for influence over awareness when it comes to cybersecurity, and you'll hear me talk about this a lot during the season of The Security Collective podcast. People who are aware are not necessarily going to take action, and so I wanted to talk to a handful of experts, many who funnily enough, have the word awareness in their titles, about how they're changing people's behaviour in relation to cyber.
We've spoken to Susan McLean who educates people of all ages in relation to online safety. And I particularly chose her because of her messages around cyber for school kids. But the episode really is fit for anybody from corporates, to school kids, to teachers, and everyone in your family. We have some Australian cyber industry leaders like Erica Hardinge and Kate Monckton - they're talking about cyber influence and behaviour change in much bigger organisations. And then Christie Wilson joins us on the podcast to talk about her efforts with cyber champions within UniSuper. I really enjoyed speaking to Amy Ertan, who joined me to share her research and insights around why things like phishing exercises don't work, and how company loyalty can impact cyber behaviours. To open the season will be the webinar recording that I mentioned earlier that Lloyd and I did as the live version of the podcast. So that's all coming up kicking off on the 24th of February.
I'm really looking forward to seeing how this season lands with you. And I really encourage you to share these episodes with family and friends and other people within your organisation. These messages are not just about corporate cyber programmes, they're actually really about how you and your family and your friends operate in your personal lives.
