Podcast Transcript

Hello, and welcome to The Security Collective podcast.

I'm your host, Claire Pales and you're probably thinking things are sounding a little bit different to what you were expecting. And you would be right. This used to be where you would have found ‘The Secure CIO’ podcast for the last five seasons. But as of 2021, we are rebranding this podcast in line with the rebranding of my consulting business, to become The Security Collective.

And this has come about for a couple of reasons. Firstly, for the last four or five years, I've really been focused on helping organisations hire and retain great cybersecurity leaders. But as my business has evolved, I've started to do far more than that for my clients. And so, not only do I want to share that with you as an audience, but I wanted to do it under the banner of something far more inclusive than just people who were coming here to hear about security leadership and security teams.

And so the podcast now over the last couple of seasons has started to expand but certainly the focus now will be to bring in not just the people element, but the process, the technology, the data and really be looking at how do we help organisations to make security a way of doing business?

You will still hear the same great conversations, I'll still be asking very probing questions of my guests, and into season six, which will start in the next couple of weeks, I hope that you will find that the broader conversation provides you with even more interesting knowledge and facts around cybersecurity, both here and abroad.
